Saturday Self-care for rejuvenation

Saturday is a day many people get housework done or maybe yard work. Some people study while others may take littles to the beach.

Whatever your pleasure on Saturday, be sure to incorporate some self-care in the mix. Make a favorite meal... take a long, hot bath... Self-care is NOT selfish and it can be achieved with even the smallest of actions.

As I have gotten older, I have come to deeply understand the value of self-care after many many years of ignoring my need for it. I might not be as screwed up today if I had taken better care of my spirit needs! 🤣

Joking aside though, take care of yourself my friends... Believe me, no one else will and YOU are just as important as all those people and chores you put ahead of yourself.

Things as simple as taking medications every day at the right time, getting enough rest and eating properly all count!! I know if I forget my medication, even for a day, I start feeling sick. I set myself reminders on my phone now and have a routine in the morning and evening to keep myself in the habit of this basic self-care activity.
